Our Story

What do Reddit, SPAO, and Pokemon all have in common? They serendipitously led to the founding of Harumio! Read on to learn about our humble beginnings.

How we started

It all began a few years ago when a friend tagged Harumio’s founder in a Reddit post requesting to buy the SPAO x Pokemon sweaters released exclusively in South Korea. It turns out that many fellow Redditors were interested in the sweaters as well!

We decided that a website was more suitably equipped to handle all the payments and deal with the requests. Thanks to the ninja-like coding skills of the said founder, our website was functional in less than 6 hours, and Harumio was officially launched!
