I love the art of dressing and selecting jewelry for the day

No matter where I’m going I won’t leave the house unless I’m reasonably put together.  My favorite thing has always been the last step.  “What jewelry will be my finishing touch?!  I love to choose the right pieces that will pull the outfit together and express my personality. I’m inspired to design jewelry that will compliment today’s fashion. Handmade quality you don’t find in department stores, at prices to fit your lifestyle without having to make an investment. 

I’m a hands-on person. 
To fulfill my love for art I have had careers as a glass engraving artist and a decorative painter.  Making my own personal jewelry started as a hobby.  I loved working with beautiful gemstones, pearls and wire.  The techniques, design and art of putting all these together sparked a passion that fulfilled my love for art, design, fashion and hands on!  I wanted to sell my jewelry but did not want a storefront location. Starting from the big eCommerce group websites was both ineffective and unfulfilling. They have limitations on your brand and not probable your business will grow.

The game changer for me?
Selling to ladies boutiques starting in my area.   My original Monogram Pendant Necklace was so well loved the owner of the boutique she invited me to do my first trunk show there.  Monkee’s Of Johnson City carries upscale brand ladies clothing and accessories.   My jewelry designs were well received by their clientele and Monkee’s still continues to do well with my jewelry line.  See Monogram Pendant Necklace
